The SVDP Monastery Garden will open the season on Friday, April 2 at the St. Bernadine Monastery, 793 Monastery Rd, Hollidaysburg between 10:30 am and 2:00 pm.
Everyone is welcome; you can even make this a family event. No experience needed.
All vegetables grown are donated to the food banks and soup kitchens in the area. Last year over 13,000 pounds of vegetables were distributed.
Clean gloves, snacks, coffee, soda and water are supplies. You are asked to wear a mask due to COVID 19 mandate.
