I was staying with my mom and she is an alcoholic and she did not want Devin and I to live there even though Devin had a job. My mother kicked me and Devin out, she knew that we had no place to go.
We went to Saint Vincent De Paul because we needed help getting shelter out of the cold and I had just started a new job. St Vincent De Paul funded us to stay at Healthy Community Living and we worked with the case manager and with the staff to get our own place and we are so excited and grateful We are now in our own town home in Altoona.
